Day at the beach by Noel.

Sunday, August 1, 2010

Yet another exceptional day, more beautiful weather and time with the family. Great sermon at church to start the day off and nice bowl of ice cream to end a beautiful summer evening. My pastor paid a visit to my family and me this afternoon and so did my grandparents and mom's side of the family. We all sat by the pool and talked and said a nice prayer to finish everything off. Plus a nice swim in the pool with my sister can always make a day shine brighter and it did(=

  10. Oh Boy... Uncle Jeff's barbecued ribs and Aunt Sheila's homemade watermelon. Sheila... are you using the family's really, really special recipe for watermelon?? You know it's been a strongly held secret for multi generations! Watermelon, done as only our family knows how, is exceptional and the recipe should be guarded. Please respect the family's tradition... and after preparing the watermelon, place the recipe back in the family's vault. Thank you... Noel must be really, really excited to be able to be part of Hailey's birthday celebration and to partake in your culinary expertise! Love, Mom (Grandma Diana)

  12. Good Afternoon Our Dear Noel! Sounds like a lot of fun for you tonight! Keep an eye on Grandpa Geroge....this is the old guys golfing day....hope he can stay awake. We now have three dogs at our home. Our black lab, Andi; our son's gold lab, Cash; and our daughter's brown lab, Coco. What a morning. If one barks, the others have to chime in. I'm going to have to work on training their behavior. I know you'll have a wonderful evening....Enjoy!! Thinking of and praying for you often. Lots of Love and Hugs, Valerie (Paul's with the old guys!)
